Ordinance C: Degrees

I. The degrees in the University are:

(a) Bachelor of Arts, and such other Bachelor’s degrees as may be established by Ordinance;

(b) Master of Arts, and such other Master’s degrees as may be established by Ordinance;

(c) Doctor of Philosophy, and such other doctoral degrees as may be established by Ordinance.;

(d) Bachelor of Philosophy;

(e) Bachelor of Science;

(f) Bachelor of Music;

(g) Bachelor of Humanities;

(h) Bachelor of Business Administration;

(i) Master of Philosophy;

(j) Master of Science;

(k) Master of Research;

(l) Master (and Executive Master) of Business Administration;

(m) Master of Education;

(n) Master of Music;

(o) Master of Music Education;

(p) Master of Narrative Studies;

(q) Doctor of Professional Studies;

(r) Doctor of Music;

(s) Doctor of Arts;

(t) Doctor of Business Administration;

(u) Doctor of Narrative Studies;

(v) Doctor of Letters;

(w) Doctor of Science;

(x) Doctor of Humane Letters

(y) Doctor of Laws;

(z) Doctor of the University.

II. The University may make provision by Ordinance:

(a) for admission of graduates and officers of the University to the degree of Master of Arts on the recommendation of the Senate;

(b) for admission to degrees ad eundem or jure dignitatis;

(c) for a candidate who has completed partial studies at another University or equivalent institution to receive credit for these studies towards a degree of the University.

III. The ranking of degrees shall be in such order of precedence as may be determined by Ordinance or, in the absence of such Ordinance, in such order as is customary.
